COURSE DESCRIPTION Introduce signal processing with an emphasis on digital signal processing and teach the time-domain and frequency-domain analyses of continuous-time and discrete-time systems. In this course students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of analog signals, analog-to-digital conversion, digital-to-analog conversion, discrete time signals, digital signal processing systems, analysis and synthesis of discrete time low/high/band pass filters, auto- and cross correlation between signals, spectral analysis by the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT).
