Teradata university program 2012-2013, first ever program which thought to communicate the universities over the globe level.It started in Pakistan with the collaboration of PITB inaugurated by CM Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on July 19th 2012.UET Taxila has the honor of being the part of this university program amongst the eight universities of Punjab in which Engr. Muhammad Fahad Khan, Assistant Professor of Software Department was the representative of the university.More over 1800 faculty members have been registered in this and over 850 universities have been connected through this channel.

The marketing manager of Teradata Company visited theUniversity for Introductory Presentation on 11th September 2012 in conference hall. Over 200 students attended the session.It started with recitation of Holy Quran preceding a little introduction to the excellence skills and professional maturity of IT students of UET Taxila among big organizations of Pakistan as well as in world plus about what TeradataCompany is all about and what’s their program. After that marketing manager of Teradata Companygot the stage for an informative presentation.

The main agenda of their presentation was:

1. To make the faculty and students of the university acquainted with what Teradata University Program.

2. How it is going to help our faculty and students with this program towards grooming their technical skills and their professional career.

3. To make students aware about purposed roadmap 2012-2013 for this university program.

Further on in the presentation, they expounded the goals of their program including Teradata University Network (TUN), Teradata Podium Power, Teradata Seminars , Teradata Summer Internship, Teradata software and Teradata PK University Group.It provided with very crispy offers for the students of IT such as summer internships for the students of database warehousing, case study, assignments and the projects etc.At the end, there was a question answer session to solve student's quires and it made clear that Engr.
