and resources. Other engineering disciplines
apply skills to very specific areas while Industrial
and Engineering Management gives engineers the
flexibility to work in a variety of businesses.
Industrial engineering deals with the design,
improvement and installation of integrated systems
of men, materials and machines, drawing upon
specialized knowledge and skills of the mathematical,
physical and social science aspects of technology
in conjunction with the principles and methods
of engineering and design. On the other hand
Engineering Management focuses on developing
both quantitative and qualitative skills to
enhance productivity of organization. The focus
is to emphasis on both tactical and strategic
level issues in organizations.
