World Environmental Day

Environmental Protection Society, U.E.T Taxila has celebrated “World Environmental Day” on 5th of June, 2008. The society has arranged a walk in the campus which was lead by the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Habibullah Jamal, other faculty members and students also took part in the walk.

Following competitions were also organized to create awareness among the students about the environment.

• English Essay Writing Competition.
• Urdu Essay Writing Competition.
• Painting and Sketching Competition

147 students participated in the above competitions. Environment Protection Society has also established its own nursery in the campus which was inaugurated by the worthy Vice Chancellor.
