• The Vice-Chancellor has been pleased to approve the one day seminar to be held on 15th April, 2013 starting from 10.00 a.m. in the Conference Hall of Admin Block.
  
  
• All PhD scholars will submit their presentations showing the progress of their PhD work to the respective Dean/Chairman not later than 5.4.2013. Following main objectives will be the seminar:-
  

  • a. To examine the progress of PhD scholars
    
  • b. To provide a scientific framework for encouraging PhD scholars to show better performance as compared to their fellow PhD scholars.
    
  • c. To exchange knowledge and share information about PhD research in various specializations of Engineering.
    
  • d. To explore the use of new technologies in PhD the studies in UET, Taxila.
  • e. To provide an opportunity for decision makers in the University, experts and faculty to share their expertise in order to find integrative and comprehensive solutions for engineering problems.
  • f. To provide a chance to the PhD scholars to judge their progress as
    compared to fellow PhD Scholars.

  i. Opening Ceremony (Venue Conference Hall Admin. Block, UET, Taxila.
  ii. Recitation from the Holy Quran 10.00 to 10.05 a.m.
  iii. Speech of the Vice-Chancellor 10.05 to 10.20 a.m.
  iv. Key Note Speaker 1 10.20 to 10.40 a.m.
  v. Invited Speaker 10.40 to 11.00 a.m.
  

• Technical Sessions: (Venue Various Rooms in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Engineering Block (Concerned Deptt. Conference Hall).
