Society for Traffic and Road Safety (STARS) in
collaboration with National Highway and Motorway Police conducted
seminar on “Traffic and driving safety awareness in Pakistan”
on 17th October 2012 at Conference Hall, Admin Block, UET Taxila.
The aim of seminar was to highlight the current traffic and driving
issues in Pakistan and create driving sense and awareness among
the road users. A comprehensive presentation was delivered by
NH&MP to introduce traffic safety culture and driving sense.
At the end souvenirs were exchanged. The seminar was chaired by
worthy vice chancellor, Director TITE Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Kamal and
chief guest Inspector General (NH & MP) Zafar Iqbal Lak. Seminar
was managed by advisor of the STARS, Dr. Kamran Muzaffar Khan
and executive members of the society.
