A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Taxila on January 04, 2011.

This MoU was signed to enhance collaboration between the two partners in the field of research and technology. Under this program PTA will provide the telecommunication statistics and expertise to UET Taxila. Reciprocally university will encourage its students to undertake research projects in different areas of telecommunication. Both partners have underlined the importance of extending full collaboration in this regard and also agreed to annually review the progress of cooperation.

The Register, UET Taxila and the Director General, PTA signed on the behalf of their respective institutions.
