UET Taxila won 1st ALL PAKISTAN THERMOCON 2011 held at GIK Institute

ThermoCon ’11 was a national event and the only of its kind in the region, this was an ideal opportunity for students of our esteemed institute to gain hands on experience and exposure in the field of Thermodynamics, HVAC and Fluid Mechanics.

ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) GIKI Chapter organized first All Pakistan Event from 25th to 27th March 2011. They planned a great event including events like Thermal Tempest, Brainiac, Innovation, Technical Paper Presentation & Poster Design Competition.

25 teams representing almost all the renowned Engineering Universities competed in this event.

The Students of UET Taxila participated in different series of competitions and won in the followings -

1st in "Stacked Up"
1st in "Thermal Tempest"
2nd in "Innovation"
3rd in "Brainiac"
3rd in "Poster Design"
