RESEARCH AREAS
In order to satisfy the increasing demand for relevant advanced
technological education, the department offer Master degree course
in structural engineering and water resources and irrigation engineering
.The courses contains balance of analytical and professional aspects
and are designed to suit the needs of fresh graduates and those
with professional experience.
The faculty has completed a number of research papers funded by
UGC through Directorate of Advance Studies, Research and Technological
development. Research papers based upon applied research have been
published in the national and international journals.
Most of the postgraduate students belong to the construction industry
and acts as a bridge for university to industry linkage that makes
research in the department to be practical and useful for the country.
The introduction of the PHD program will further enrich the research
activities in the department.

2. Geo-technical Engineering
3. Transportation Engineering
4. Water resources and Irrigation Engineering
5. Hydraulic Engineering
Numerical modeling and computer applications in all the research
activities are being given special attention .The courses of study
have been designed on the basis of present needs of the market.
The students trained to work independently for solving complex real
world problems.
