The Department of Software Engineering organized Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar on Thursday October 27,2022 for
female students. The keynote address was given by guest speaker Dr. Sidra Latif, Radiation Oncologist from
Atomic Energy Commission Hospital, NORI, Islamabad. In her address, she highlighted that Pakistan has the
highest ratio of Breast Cancer in Asia and one in every ten (10) women in Pakistan are affected by this disease.
She also motivated students to perform self breast examination regularly and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
At the end of the seminar, Engr. Prof. Dr. Tabassam Nawaz, Chairman, Software Engineering Department presented the souvenir to the guest speaker.
