Industry Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting, 2023 (22nd March, 2023)

Agenda of the meeting was as following:

  • Discussion on reviewing/updating the Entry-2023 Curriculum of BSc. Software Engineering Program facilitated by Incharge Curriculum Review Committee, Dr. Ali Javed.
  • Deliberation on paid internship opportunities/job placements for Software Engineering students coordinated by Industry Liasion officer, Engr. Maria Andleeb
  • Presentation on Alumni Portal by Alumni Coordinator, Engr. Marriam Nawaz
  • Discussion on Final Year Project Collaboration in context of Industry-Academia Linkage by FYP Coordinator, Dr. Arta Iftikhar
  • Half an hour interaction of each interested speaker ( from IAB Members) with Software Engineering students on any of the topics mentioned below.
    1. Career Counselling (4th year students)
    2. Final Year Project Ideas and Tips (3rd year students)
    3. Importance of Internships during graduation (2nd year students)
    4. Sharing Personal Experiences/Success Stories (1st year students)
