COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces software engineering as a discipline, discusses stages of the software life cycle, compares development models such as waterfall, prototyping and incremental/iterative, covers requirements analysis, Data modeling, Process Modeling, compares structured and object-oriented analysis and design methods. It also discusses verification/ validation, Software Testing. Students will learn about How to complete documentation for their projects e.g. Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document.
