UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
All courses have a core set of subjects, allowing students to
specialize further in electrical subjects, or go more deeply into
computer and telecommunications. Electrical Engineering Course content
includes analogue, digital and solid-state electronics, digital
systems, telecommunications, and electromagnetics, with in-depth
study of mathematics and computers in the context of electrical
engineering. Practical skills in designing, making and testing are
developed through laboratory work and computer-aided design. Laboratory
projects are encouraged in second and third years whereas final
year projects are assigned in consultation with industrial experts.
The campus is located in an industrial environment and the students
have a fair chance of industrial visits. The Elective Courses are
included in the program to provide more breadth to the knowledge.
In 3rd and 4th years, the students can register for the Elective
Courses according to their interests. Our degrees are highly regarded
by industry and independent assessors. The course is accredited
by the Pakistan Engineering Council as satisfying the academic requirements
for Professional Engineer (PE) status. |
