Statues and Regulations

Statues and Regulations

MS Physics is a full–time 2 years (4 semesters) degree program. Five core physics courses along with electives and interdisciplinary courses are being offered to the students of MS physics degree program.  Briefly, the students will study the 30 Credit hour in total. In 3rd and 4th semester, each student will 6 Credit hour thesis work in which the students are required to get training of doing advance level research in the specialized areas as prescribed the Department of Physical Sciences. The students are required to choose to main supervisor and defend the topic during the 3rd semester. After successful defense of topic, students will start its research under the guidance of allotted supervisor. On completion of work, student is allowed to submit his/her thesis, and defend it before to Board of Post Graduate Studies (PGS). After successful defense the student is allowed to proceed for viva voice exam. In order to ensure the quality of research, there are external members in the Board of PGS.
