DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL SCIENCES

The Department of Physical Sciences is a teaching and research Department of the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. The Department was previously a part of the department of basic sciences and humanities, which was established in 1975 as a part of the University College of Engineering, Taxila and is as old as the institution itself. With the inception of the institute as a University in 1993, the Department was placed under the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Humanities. Now, the Department has been re-structured and split into three independent departments: the Department of Physical Sciences is one of them.
