Undergraduate Programs
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics
Statutes and Regulations
BS Physics is a full-time 4 years (8 semesters) degree program. Various core physics courses
along with interdisciplinary as well as general education courses are being offered to the students
of BS physics degree program. Briefly, the students will study the 135 Credit hour in total.
In 7th semester, each student will attend a 3 credit hours internship, in which the students are
required to gain the field experience of six to eight weeks (preferably undertaken during semester
or summer break). The students are required to submit their report at the end of the semester.
The internship must be graded by a faculty member in collaboration with the field supervisor.
In 8th semester, the students are required to write a project of 3 credit hours on a topic
approved by the Chairman of the Department along with the theory courses. There will be
viva-voce examination of the project.
