Department of Software Engineering welcomed new entry (i.e., 2022) on September 26, 2022.
On this occasion a welcome note was given by the Class Advisor, Engr. Dr. Kanwal Yousaf,
followed by a formal welcome address by the Chairman, Engr. Prof. Dr. Tabassam Nawaz.
Afterwards, the Academic Coordinator, Assistant Prof. Engr. M. Asjad Saleem delivered an
orientation session which made students feel at home. Keynote speakers from software industry
(Engr. M. Yousaf, CEO, BlueMoon Technologies, Islamabad; Engr. Owais Iqbal, CEO/Founder, HyseTech,
Islamabad; Engr. M. Dawood and Engr. Afzaal, CEO and Tech Lead of Regrex, Lahore) gave inspirational
talks to the fresh entrants. Leads of the departmental societies (SOFTDESK, GDSC, and MLS) also
introduced about the events, functions and activities under their umbrella. Concluding remarks
were delivered by the Class Advisor.
At the end, lunch was served to the students followed by a group photo and
a tour of university facilities guided by the students of session 2021.
