COURSE POLICY

General Course Requirements

I wants you to learn the material. To accomplish this:

a. please read the relevant material in the book before class as background;

b. please attend class in time;

c. please pay attention in class;

d. please take notes in class;

e. please ask questions in class when you do not understand the material;

f. please talk to your classmates (outside of the class time) about the course material;

g. please see the Instructor during office hours when you need help.

h. Homework is due at the beginning of class. Late homework is unacceptable unless other arrangements have been made with the Instructor before the due date.

i. In the single person assignments, i will allow you to talk about the problem sets with other students. However, you are not allowed to talk in terms of pseudocode or real code. In the pair programming assignments, i encourage (expect) you and your partner to design and implement real code together.

j. All quizzes will be unannounced.

k. Any announcements regarding the class will be updated on the web site. So do check the web site before each class.
