The mission of the Environmental Engineering is to;

careers in engineering for the environment’
The Department of Environmental Engineering at the University of
Engineering and Technology, Taxila aims to emerge as a proactive
academic entity responsive to technological change, dedicated to
excellence and committed to international educational and research
needs of the country. Our core vision is to develop the department
as a research-intensive entity, with focus on the development of
environmentally sound technology, and for the protection and sustenance
of our planet in the face of demands for increased utilization of
resources by an ever-growing world population. These engineers will
also be pivotal for the research sector of the country because of
the multidisciplinary nature and wide scope of Environmental Engineering
in research.
