Central Library UET Taxila proudly announce that two students of University of Engineering and Technology Taxila have won Apple-iPads-10 in “IEEE Xplore Challenge for researchers in Pakistan 2023”. The prize distribution ceremony was held on 5th September 2023 at The Vice Chancellor’s office, worthy Vice Chancellor was the Chief Guest of this ceremony and has distributed the prize to the winners.

Mr. Abdur Rehman, student of Telecommunication department and Ms. Aqsa, student of Telecommunication Department, have received their prizes. Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Senior Librarian Central Library has also received the “IEEE Appreciation Shield” for his countless efforts to promote this challenge among the students and faculty members of UET Taxila. Due to his hard work so many students have participated in this challenge and in the result UET Taxila have won 2 iPads in this challenge.

The worthy Vice Chancellor of UET Taxila, Representatives of IEEE explore Digital library, were also present in the ceremony.

Mr. Rashid Pervaiz and Ms. Majid Lodhi from A&J Tek consultant (who are local partners/representative of IEEE in Pakistan) also graced the ceremony with their presence.

The Vice chancellor appreciated the winners and organizers and said that UET, Taxila will always participate affectionately in these type of Academic Challenge in future.
