PEC Final Year Design Projects (FYDP) Funding Ceremony at HITEC, Taxila

PEC Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC) hosted a Final Year Design Projects (FYDP) funding ceremony on January 10^th, 2024, at HITEC University, Taxila. The event centered around distributing grants/funds to outstanding students from different universities, including GIKI, Air, COMSATS, WEC, HITEC and UET Taxila, whose projects were selected for funding under the esteemed FYDP initiative.

Dr. Kanwal Yousaf, a faculty member of the Software Engineering Department secured successfully the funding for two projects namely:

1. PsycheSync-Empowering Mental Resilience through AI-Powered Wellness Ecosystem, and
2. Baymax-Your Emotional Support Buddy.

Furthermore, Chairman PEC, Engr. Najeeb Haroon, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He encouraged the projects supervisors and students for their innovative ideas and motivated them to successfully complete their selected projects timely. The Convener, PPDC, Engr. Mir Masood Rashid, played a pivotal role in organizing the event, contributed to the success of the FYDP initiative and briefed the audience about the following distinguished projects of PPDC;

1. STEM Education Ambassadors' Program
2. Day Trip Learning (DTL)
3. Engineering Capstone Expo' (Across Pakistan)
4. E-Library
5. Graduate Internship Training Program (GIT)
6. E-Gateway
7. Engineering Parliamentarian Caucus
