NEWS DETAIL: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Ali, an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department of University of Engineering and Technology Taxila (UET Taxila) has been awarded the Best Young Research Scholar Award 2017 in Engineering during the 7th HEC Outstanding Research Award Ceremony. There is only one award in Engineering Category of Best Young Research Scholar Award all across Pakistan.

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Ali is an outstanding faculty member with main research interests in Thermal Sciences, Heat Transfer and Solar Energy where he has supervised several undergrad and postgrad students. He has published over 100 papers in reputed international journals and has delivered various invited and keynote talks in international and national conferences. He is also a recipient of HEC Best Research Paper Award (2013/2014) and Research Productivity Award by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (2016-17). He is actively involved in research community and serves as an editorial board member on 7 esteemed international journals, notably, Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Journal Thermal Science and Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
