Importance of PVC in the manufacturing industrial sector in Pakistan
A seminar on the "Importance of PVC in the manufacturing industrial sector in Pakistan" was organized. This seminar focuses on the engineering students of 2018 that helps them in developing the linkage between the manufacturing industries. Speaker is Muhammad Asim Bin Kazim, Project Manager, NEWTECH Company. It is one of the leading names in plastic pipes industry, registered in Pakistan. The company was established in 2000 after the demand for the best quality galvanized pipes and polyethylene pipes, HDPE pipes and allied fittings increased systematically. Today, it is a prominent producer in the pressure pipes like HDPE, PVC, MDPE, EC, PPRC pipes and fittings in Pakistan manufacturing industry and has become synonymous with the word quality assurance.
Keeping in view the epidemic, IMechE organized this seminar by following the SOPs. Initially Students displayed their machine design projects and industrial expert gave valuable feedback. Later Mr.Asim delivered a talk about polymer industry in Pak and what challenges they are facing.
