NEWS DETAIL: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) UET Taxila Chapter organizes its welfare event Community Services Week (CSW) annually. In which members of ASME visit different government and private high schools. The main purpose is to do career counseling for students by keeping in view science, technology, engineering, and mathematics(STEM).

This year ASME UET Taxila Chapter organized this event which was 4 Day event and visited four different schools.

Schools were visited in the following order:

1. Government Girls High School Taxila
2. Regal School Taxila
3. Allied School Jinnah Campus II Taxila
4. Government Boys High School Taxila

All the modules and activities were organized according to STEM.

Undergraduate students engaged the young minds of students to think in a broader way about how to choose a field with your interest and how to excel in any particular field. Which ultimately boosted their confidence.
