"A delegation of UET Taxila headed by Prof. Dr. Qaiser uz Zaman Khan, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jawad Hussain, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Adnan Habib, Treasurer and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasir, Director (P&D) have a meeting with Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor Punjab (Chancellor of the universities) on 26/06/2024 in Governor's House, Lahore regarding establishment of Sub campus of UET Taxila at Jand, District Attock.

Worthy Vice Chancellor briefed about the outlines and feasibility study of the proposed campus and shared long term and short term plans about the Jand campus.

Meeting was also attended by Mr. Abdul Rahman Shah, Special Secretary (Academics), Governor Secretariat, Engr. Qurat ul Ain Memon, Chief Operating Officer (TEVTA), Mr. Tariq Mehmood, Additional Secretary, Governor Secretariat and Dr. Asad Chaudhary, Deputy Secretary, Governor Secretariat, Lahore.

Honorable Chancellor showed his immense pleasure for the efforts of administration of UET, Taxila for establishment of sub campus at Jand and declared it as a SADQAH E JAARIA for providing the opportunities of studies in highly standard educational institute to the residents of less privileged area".
