Dear Students,

The "UET Taxila Smart University" Wi-Fi requires all users to be authenticated using Active Directory credentials. AD accounts have been created; you can access the network using your account. Username is same as the official email ID for all the students. Default password is uet@123 and needs to be changed at first login using Desktop/Laptop device.

Password must meet the system complexity criteria i.e. combination of alphabets, digits and special characters.

For Undergrad Students, username format is [email protected](e.g. [email protected])

For MSc and PhD students, username format is [email protected](e.g. [email protected])

Please use the following settings on mobile phones:

Encryption Type: 802.1x EAP
EAP Method: PEAP
Phase2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2
CA Certificate: Do not validate

Since all the network traffic is being logged, it is strongly recommended that each user may use his own account for internet access.
