Promoting Entrepreneurship
A person who undertakes the risk of starting a new business venture is called an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur
creates a firm to realize their idea, known as entrepreneurship, which aggregates capital and labor in order to
produce goods or services for profit. Entrepreneurship is highly risky but also can be highly rewarding, as it
serves to generate economic wealth, growth, and innovation. Ensuring funding is key for entrepreneurs. The way
entrepreneurs file and pay taxes will depend on how the business is set up in terms of structure.
According to PEC requirements Social entrepreneurship is mandatory for BSc Engineering Program, Students from
Electronic Engineering Program at UET Taxila are assigned various projects not only to create new and innovative
products, services and solutions but also to build entrepreneur mindset. Entrepreneurs seek out opportunities,
secure and employ resources, and provide leadership to create something of value and earn profit in all cases.
Students are required to submit their experience in the form of written report and also provide evidences
for their sale and purchase.
