Societies Activities

The University has established the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) to encourage the students for participation in technical and extracurricular activities at university and national level. The primary function of the directorate is to organize extracurricular activities to foster the intellectual, literary, and artistic potentials of the students which remain untapped in the classroom. The role of both technical and non-technical societies in grooming students is significant. The directorate functions through many clubs and societies, each of which is devoted to some sport, cultural or artistic activity. The students join these clubs and societies as per their inclinations and aptitudes. The directorate maintains liaison with a wide cross-section of students and is responsible for resolving their needs and problems. The directorate also works to promote, amongst students, respect for the dignified and disciplined behaviors befitting a university student and prospective member of the honored community of engineers in Pakistan.
