Industrial Linkages
Strengthening the industrial-academia relation is one of the priority tasks of the department. Industrial representatives from neighboring industries including Pakistan Ordinance Factories (POF), Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) Taxila and other defense institutions are frequently interacted to share the ideas for industrial-academia demands of the time.
Industrial Advisory Board meetings at the department are also frequently arranged in order to get picture of latest industrial demands and coping them in academic educational activities.
Feedback from employee is also annually collected in order to identify the weak areas of the program for necessary corrective improvements measures. The employee feedback form is available with assessment committee of the department.
- Syed Naheel Raza (17-ENC-01) and Abdullah Mazhar (17-ENC-11) done their project about Design and generalized DDR, SDRAM Memory Controller in the year 2021 at NESCOM.
- Ahmad Mujtaba (16-ENC-26) and Umar Amjad (16-ENC-25) done their project about the Design and upgradation of gare distribution mechanism and automating lathe machine in the year 2020 at Heavy Industry Taxila.
Industrial Visits
Students are highly encouraging to arrange visits to the various industries for getting vision about the application of their theoretical concepts.
