Sports Activities

Sports week is organized on annual basis that provides students an excellent opportunity for sports and other co-curricular activities. A series of inter-faculty and inter-hostel tournaments are also held to provide participation to the maximum number of students.

The following sports facilities are available in the University:

(a) Gymnasium Hall/Health Club: Fitness training, table tennis, snooker, carom board, weight lifting, dumbbell, chest machine and other facilities are provided to students in the morning (6 to 8 am.) and in the evening (5 to 10 p.m)

(b) Play Grounds:

1. Standard playground for hockey, football and cricket.
2. Badminton Courts

(c) Indoor Games Facilities like table tennis, badminton, chess etc. are also provided in the hostel’s common rooms.

The students of Electronics Engineering Department have been involved actively in various sports competitions during the Academic Sports week. The details of our student participation is shown in Table 6.6.
